What has been quietly asking for my attention lately?

Sit with this question for a few moments before writing. Resist the urge to answer immediately. Instead, notice what thoughts, memories, emotions, or recurring images begin to surface. Is there a conversation you keep replaying? A place you keep returning to in memory? A feeling you have been carrying without fully naming?

Write without trying to solve or explain it. Simply follow where the thread leads. Allow the page to become a place of listening rather than conclusion.

If you would like several prompts that build progressively from keeping a journal into developing deeper interiority, you could structure them as a sequence:

1. Noticing

What moment from today keeps returning to me, and why might it be asking to be remembered?

2. Feeling

What emotion has been present beneath the surface of my days, even when I have not acknowledged it directly?

3. Reflection

What question am I currently living, even if I cannot yet answer it?

4. Interiority

What part of myself feels unheard, and what would it say if given a full page without interruption?

5. Becoming

How am I different from the person I was a year ago, and what experiences quietly shaped that change?
